Dinoz

The dinosaur planet: tyrannosaurs, triceratops, diplodocus, velociraptors and many other true species live there as in Earth's prehistoric age.

Dinoz is the planet of dinosaurs. Its jungles, plains and seas are home to the very species that once roamed prehistoric Earth — as if time had never passed there. No people has ever built a city on Dinoz: the dinosaurs reign alone.

The great carnivores

The great carnivores of Dinoz

  • The Tyrannosaurus rex, about 12 metres long, with the most powerful jaws on the planet.
  • The Spinosaurus, even longer than the tyrannosaur, with its great sail on its back; it also hunts in the water.
  • The Allosaurus, fearsome hunter of the plains.
  • The Carnotaurus, recognisable by the two small horns above its eyes.
  • The Dilophosaurus, with its double crest.
  • The Velociraptor, small, fast and feathered, hunting in packs.
  • The Deinonychus, the velociraptor’s larger cousin, with its terrible sickle claw.

The giant herbivores

The giant herbivores of Dinoz

  • The Diplodocus, nearly 27 metres from snout to tail tip.
  • The Brachiosaurus, its long neck raised to graze the treetops.
  • The Argentinosaurus, one of the largest land animals that ever lived.
  • The Triceratops, with its three horns and great frill.
  • The Stegosaurus, with its back plates and spiked tail.
  • The Ankylosaurus, armoured like a tank, with a club at the end of its tail.
  • The Parasaurolophus, whose hollow crest resounds like a trumpet.
  • The Iguanodon, with its spiked thumbs.
  • The Pachycephalosaurus, its skull thick as a helmet.
  • The Gallimimus, a swift runner much like a great ostrich.

The sky and the seas

The sky and sea reptiles of Dinoz Above and around the lands of Dinoz also live the great reptiles that kept the dinosaurs company — without being, strictly speaking, dinosaurs themselves:

  • The Pteranodon, gliding along the coasts on its great membranous wings.
  • The Quetzalcoatlus, giant of the sky, as large as a small aeroplane.
  • The Mosasaurus, colossal hunter of the seas.
  • The Plesiosaurus, with its long serpentine neck, gliding through calm waters.

On Dinoz, every valley echoes with immense footsteps: prehistory is not a memory there — it is the present.
