Planet of eternal snows, without a people, home to an extraordinary cold-adapted fauna: golfrimps, wizkals, piqmols, zorfinas, kramzouks and tuluks.
Agaltanar is a planet entirely covered in snow and ice. No people has ever raised a city there: only blizzards, ice fields and an extraordinary fauna fitted to extreme cold share its white horizon.
The fauna of Agaltanar
The golfrimp
The golfrimp is a giant white mammoth with tusks of blue ice. When it blows through its trunk, it raises a small snowstorm that hides its whole herd.
The wizkal
The wizkal is a blue fox with three tails. When it closes its eyes, it can no longer be told apart from the snow — it becomes practically invisible.
The piqmol
The piqmol is a giant penguin of 4 metres with a golden beak. It crosses the frozen plains sliding on its belly, faster than an Arazian can run.
The zorfina
The zorfina is a white owl with four wings, the only creature able to fly through a full blizzard without ever straying from its course.
The kramzouk
The kramzouk is a fish of the frozen lakes that glows orange beneath the ice. At night, the lakes of Agaltanar light up with its glimmers like lanterns.
The tuluk
The tuluk is a small horned snow hare, able to leap 10 metres high to escape the wizkals.
Golfrimps, wizkals, piqmols, zorfinas, kramzouks, tuluks: on Agaltanar, every storm hides a life the Arazian archives are only beginning to catalogue.
